Giving Through The Dallas Foundation
At The Dallas Foundation we found exactly what we were looking for: flexible donation restrictions, broad investment options, reasonable fees, conservative management, and an institution deeply committed to the Dallas community. ~ Karen and Jim Wiley, donor advisors
Yes, giving "through," not "to." The Foundation is the tool through which you connect with your charitable causes. We’re here to help you achieve your long-term charitable goals.
The Foundation consists of named funds established by donors — individuals, families, corporations, and organizations — that address a broad range of donor interests.
So how does it work? Ask yourself:
- What do I want to achieve? To give back to the community by creating an endowment to meet its future needs? To support a favorite cause or organization? To remember a loved one in some way? Learn more.
- How do I want to give? With your financial advisor, discuss the options: a lifetime gift, bequest, or deferred gift? With cash, stock, real estate, retirement accounts, or other assets? Learn more.
- How much do I want to give? A minimum initial gift of $25,000 in cash, appreciated securities, closely held stock, real estate, or other real property will start your fund immediately.
