Kieron Go Bragh Foundation Fund-Center for BrainHealth
In 2006 The Kieron Go Bragh Foundation was established in honor of Kieron Patrick Finnegan who, at the age of 45, was diagnosed with Pick’s Disease, a rare and terminal form of dementia. The foundation’s hallmark event is an annual fundraising 5k Run/Walk in Dallas, Texas entitled: Kieron Go Bragh.
Kieron’s family created the foundation to sustain the memory of him and to raise awareness, and hopefully a cure, of this insidious disease that robbed them of their brother, son, uncle and friend. Kieron was often inspired by early morning runs, so it seemed natural to pay tribute to him with a race.
Kieron Go Bragh translates to Kieron Forever in Irish Gaelic. All proceeds from Kieron Go Bragh will benefit The Center for BrainHealth, a division of The University of Texas at Dallas.
