Established in 2001, the Cancer Relief Fund provides direct financial relief to cancer patients in order to improve their quality of life. Recipients of fund grants are able to use the grant to pay for medical treatment, home health care, housing and other needs.
Money for the Cancer Relief Fund is raised by the productions of the non profit Arts Fighting Cancer. These productions include free outdoor movies; the Lone Star Drive-in (Dallas), the Santa Monica Drive-in at the Pier (Santa Monica) and Cinema in the Park (Pasadena) & an annual Halloween Party, The Goth Ball (Dallas).
