Updates on the Foundation's Technology Upgrade

The Dallas Foundation has opted to take additional time for implementation and testing of the new online portal and is deferring the go-live date for the platform to July 6, 2020. Given the sheer volume of transactions migrating onto the new system, the end of Q2 2020, and the extended 4th of July holiday weekend, these additional ten business days will allow our vendor partner to review all fund information so it is ready for your use as soon as you log in to the new portal. Log-in credentials will be sent to you on that date.

Our internal systems continue to function normally and we are able to access  fund information, including balance, gifts and contributions and grant activity. We are aware that some may have time-sensitive grants and, for fundholders who have communicated that information to us already, grant payments will be made on schedule.

If you are a fundholder and have not communicated with a member of our team about any time-sensitive grants, please let us hear from you this week so that we can include them in our grants payment processing queue. Donor advised fundholders may contact a member of our Philanthropic Partnerships Team: Julie Diaz, Gary Garcia, or Mackenzie Causey with requests and questions; fiscal sponsorship fund representatives, please contact Claudia DeMoss.

We know you have been patient as we upgrade to our enhanced new system, and we thank you.  June will be the month of transition, so April statements will be available to you immediately.  Our plan is to have statements available within 30 days of the month on an ongoing basis by Labor Day.  While this transition will take a few months, we feel confident that you will have an improved user experience.

Once the system is live, fundholders may wish to review this list of frequently asked questions. As always, our Dallas Foundation team will be available to answer any questions or provide assistance.
