The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) Study Group Program has provided a collaborative forum that brings professional advisors and nonprofit leaders around the same table to learn about charitable planning and build lasting professional networks. For nearly a decade this peer-learning experience has empowered participants to be more connected to philanthropic resources and help their clients and donors maximize community impact. It's no surprise that The Dallas Foundation and Communities Foundation of Texas have joined forces to sponsor the Study Group Program in the Dallas and North Dallas region in 2020. Organized and administered by Todd S. Healy, CAP®, founder, and Rebecca Bates, executive coordinator for C3 Financial Partners, The Dallas CAP® study group program was the first of its kind and remains the longest running in the nation.

Since the program's inception in Texas, The Dallas Foundation and Communities Foundation of Texas have worked closely with Todd and his team to promote the program, which works to equip financial planners, CPAs, estate attorneys, insurance professionals, and nonprofit development and gift planners, with philanthropic planning concepts, while enhancing their listening skills, and building a network throughout North Texas.
