About The Dallas Foundation

A shot of buildings in Dallas.
We use our resources — of both money and people — to research local needs and find effective, creative ways to meet them.

The Dallas Foundation is the oldest community foundation in the state, and serves donors and nonprofit agencies through North Texas. We act as a keystone — a link between donors and the community issues they care about.
