She earned a B.A. from Austin College and previously served as executive director of the International Philanthropy Group.
“The most enjoyable part of my job is getting to know donors and their diverse interests and life experiences. I’m also excited to be learning more about international charities, which has broadened the knowledge I’m able to share with our donors.”
As Chief Philanthropy Officer of The Dallas Foundation, Ms. Holman oversees the foundation’s grantmaking function. Prior to joining the foundation, she was President of Helen Holman & Associates, LLC, a consulting practice specializing in developing strategies and resources for the advancement of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. She was previously employed as President and CEO of the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center and as Vice President of Community Health for Texas Health Resources. She is an alumnus of Leadership Dallas, an active member of Crystal Charity Ball and a past president of both the Junior League of Dallas and The Dallas Assembly.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.

Ashley Silva joined The Dallas Foundation in April 2014 as Donor Services Associate and works closely with the director of donor services. Her primary responsibility is researching donors' philanthropic desires and connecting them with nonprofit organizations.
Ashley has several years of experience in corporate philanthropy and nonprofit development. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma with a B.A. in Journalism and Broadcasting with an emphasis on Public Relations.

Laura earned her B.S. in Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in Business from Texas Christian University and her M.B.A. with an emphasis in Not-for-Profit Management from the University of Dallas.
