According to Children’s Health:

  • Texas children lack health insurance at more than twice the national average
  • 40% of North Texas students are obese or overweight, up 15% from 2017
  • Other societal and economic factors, such as lack of access to affordable housing, are having impacts on health outcomes
  • Texas ranks 49th out of 50 for women’s health

Don’t Forget to Make Your Contribution to the Grant Pool
In order to be eligible to vote at the year-end Grantee Awards Luncheon, WPI members must contribute a minimum of $500 by November 27. Your generosity determines how much we can award. Help us reach our goal of $300,000 again this year!

Make a one-time or recurring donation by credit card here. TDF fundholders can make a contribution from their fund in the online portal. Contact Erin for other ways to give.

We encourage all to consider a gift to the grant pool beyond the required minimum. If you are able, please also consider becoming a WPI Pacesetter with a contribution of $10,000 or more to help ensure that we can continue to grant out as much as possible to our community.
