Erik Moss serves as the Director of the Water Cooler at Pegasus Park, a first-of-its-kind shared space for nonprofit organizations powered by Lyda Hill Philanthropies and managed by The Dallas Foundation. In this role, Erik leads initiatives to strengthen cross-sector collaboration, accelerate social impact, and provide resources and programming to help nonprofits thrive.
Prior to joining The Dallas Foundation, Erik served as Chief of Staff at the Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), a nonprofit organization committed to cutting child poverty in Dallas in half within a generation. His experience also includes overseeing dual-generation education programs at Catholic Charities of Dallas and several years on the Strategic Philanthropy Team at the Commit Partnership, where he focused on strengthening public school outcomes across Dallas County and the state of Texas.
Erik has been active in the Dallas social impact sector since 2012, when he served as an AmeriCorps member with Reading Partners at Stephen C. Foster Elementary in Dallas ISD.
He currently volunteers as board chair for Reading Partners – North Texas and vice chair of the Planned Parenthood Community Advisory Board of Greater Dallas. He also serves as secretary on the advisory board of the Trinity River Audubon Center.
Erik Moss holds a BA in Psychology and Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
