Rising GENerosity engages and educates the next generation of Dallas philanthropists — Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z — connecting them with the causes they care about most.
The program features Lunch and Learns with philanthropic experts, site visits to innovative nonprofits, and social and family volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Rising GENerosity is tailored for leaders aged 25 to 50 who are eager to learn, engage, and expand their impact through strategic, intentional, and collaborative philanthropy.

Rising GENerosity members
Grounded in shared values and a collaborative spirit, Rising GEN members are redefining what it means to give. They prioritize meaningful impact over visibility, seeking transparency, measurable results, and authentic partnership with the organizations they support. Focused on root causes rather than short-term fixes, they invest in the long-term strength of Dallas through work in areas like mental health, education, sustainability, and economic mobility.
Here, philanthropy is not a one-time act but a discipline shaped over time, where curiosity leads to deeper understanding and shared action leads to measurable and lasting change.
Members visit three nonprofits each year to learn firsthand about their missions, programs, and impact. These visits also teach members how to assess a nonprofit’s health, from financials to leadership.
Rising GEN offers two family-friendly volunteer opportunities throughout the year. These hands-on experiences bring members together to serve, connect, and put generosity into action with their children.
These educational events feature speakers on timely topics selected by members. Attendees hear from community experts and thought leaders who bring context and insight to the issues shaping Dallas.
The year concludes with a celebratory gathering to highlight the collective impact of our members. During this event, one lead grantee is selected and awarded funding to further accelerate their work.
