The Dallas Foundation Announces Nearly $1.5M in Most Recent Grant Funding Cycle

Texas’ First Community Foundation Distributes Vital Funds To 51 Local Nonprofits Through 2022 Field of Interest Grants

DALLAS – July 11, 2022 – The Dallas Foundation, the first community foundation in Texas, is proud to announce almost $1.5M in grants to 51 local organizations which will impact thousands of individuals across Greater Dallas. These particular grants, awarded from Field of Interest Funds, are endowed funds that are customized to align with a donor’s interest in a specific cause. Historically, the funds each year cover a range of issues, including the arts, critical needs, children & families, and animal welfare.

“Field of Interest Fund Grants allow The Dallas Foundation to make a significant impact across a significant number of Dallas-area nonprofits,” said Matthew Randazzo, President & CEO of The Dallas Foundation. “Last year we granted to over three dozen organizations, and seeing that ripple effect this past year just reinforces our commitment to a brighter, more equitable city. Because of the generosity of our donors, millions of dollars are being invested into the community to address critical and timely needs, while reinforcing that we are ‘here for good.’”
