Dawn joined The Dallas Foundation in 2015, originally leading the organization’s marketing and communications efforts. She recently transitioned to her new role as Chief Operating Officer, where she provides leadership and direction across operations, technology, and strategic initiatives, building strong systems and teams while helping ensure the Foundation is positioned to achieve the goals outlined in its strategic plan. In this role, she also supports key organizational priorities and works across departments to strengthen effectiveness, innovation, and impact.
Dawn earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in communications from Loyola University New Orleans and subsequently has spent much of her 25+ year career in the nonprofit sector, including roles in higher education, social services and philanthropy. Dawn, her husband, two daughters and several pets reside in Rockwall.
