The Dallas Foundation Names 25 Nonprofit Recipients of 2021 Community Impact Grants

Texas’ First Community Foundation Awards a Total of $80M, $1.3M+ To Empower North Texans To Achieve Full Potential

DALLAS – Feb. 28, 2022 – The Dallas Foundation, the first community foundation in Texas, announces the recipients of its 2021 Community Impact Fund Grants, which represent just a portion of the $80 million awarded during 2021 in partnership with the Foundation’s fundholders. Through the Community Impact funding cycle, The Dallas Foundation awarded more than $1.3M to 25 local organizations and initiatives driving meaningful results for children and families.

The Foundation’s Community Impact Fund supports a variety of causes for the betterment of Greater Dallas and grant awards align with the organization’s strategic priorities and community impact framework. In 2021, the funding centered specifically on ensuring a Strong & Healthy Start in life, Community & Economic Resilience, Advancing Equity & Inclusion, and Enhancing the Nonprofit Ecosystem. Recipients were selected following review and approval by a committee of the Board.
