The Dallas Foundation Names 27 Nonprofit Recipients of 2022 Community Impact Grants

Texas’ First Community Foundation Awards a Total of $56M+, $1.4M+ Toward Strategic Priorities

DALLAS – Oct. 20, 2022 – The Dallas Foundation, the first community foundation in Texas, announces the recipients of its 2022 Community Impact Fund Grants, which represent just a portion of more than $56 million awarded in 2022 to date in partnership with the Foundation’s fundholders. Through its most recent Community Impact funding cycle, The Dallas Foundation awarded more than $1.4M to 27 local organizations and initiatives driving meaningful results for children and families.

The Foundation’s Community Impact Fund supports a variety of causes for the betterment of Greater Dallas and grant awards align with the organization’s strategic priorities and community impact framework. For 2022, the funding centered specifically on ensuring a Strong & Healthy Start in life, Community and Economic Resilience, Advancing Equity and Inclusion, and Enhancing the Nonprofit Ecosystem. Recipients were selected following review and approval by a committee of the Board. 

“Each of these Community Impact Grants demonstrates an investment in some of our community’s most critical needs,” said Matthew Randazzo, President & CEO of The Dallas Foundation. “The Dallas Foundation is thrilled to support and spotlight these recipients, whose missions align with The Dallas Foundation’s strategic priorities and, ultimately, provide children and families with a brighter and more equitable community to live in.”
