The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) Study Group Program brings professional advisors and nonprofit leaders together to learn charitable planning strategies and build lasting professional connections. For more than a decade, the program has helped participants deepen their knowledge of philanthropy, strengthen client and donor relationships, and maximize community impact.
In North Texas, the program is administered by Merrill Lynch, The Dallas Foundation, and Communities Foundation of Texas, equipping financial planners, CPAs, estate attorneys, insurance professionals, and nonprofit leaders with philanthropic planning expertise and a strong regional network.
The seven-month study group program will run from September 14, 2026 to May 3, 2027. It will support candidates who are enrolled in the CAP® program offered by The American College of Financial Services. There are no fees to join the study group and enrollment is limited.
